When I am not designing or illustrating professionally, I also offer private art tutoring and create fine art in my painting studio. My personal work ranges from still life, landscape, wildlife and figurative historical subjects. In the USA my work has been in numerous exhibitions, from solo to regional and national juried shows. Since my relocation to England in 2010, I now am focusing to network and show my work here in Leeds in the upcoming year.
My personal work is mainly painting, but I am recently experimenting with mix media and transfer techniques. My work is influenced by a wide range of artists like James Bama, a great western artist and illustrator to Claude Monet, the famous impressionist. Amazing wildlife artists like John Seery-Lester, who I had the pleasure to interview during my university days, have always inspired my love for the subject of the natural world. Throw in my fascination with science and mythology, add a dash of travel, adventure and I have a great recipe for creativity.
All work presented on this site is available for sale and commission inquires are welcome. Private or in-studio tutoring is also available on a per-session fee.
